Request lab jobs
Requesting lab work for wines is done via the Vessels page in the new vintrace or via Search > Bulk wine search.
Use the filters to search for the wines. To select a wine simply click on its checkbox.
When you have the wine(s) selected that you want to run the analysis on click on Actions and then click Lab work.
Select what you want analyzed or the Analysis Template you want to use and make sure the Print labels box is unchecked if you do not want to print the labels.
Export lab jobs
Select Consoles > Lab to open the lab console and pull up the lab requests.
Click Export and then click CSV (All matching) on the bottom section of the window.
CSV (All matching) will export out all lab requests displayed in the search. Clicking CSV (This page) will export out the lab requests on a certain page.
The generated CSV file of the lab requests can be opened in Microsoft Excel.
There will be a column for the Lab reference field if you need to enter additional information.
The right hand fields are for the lab results, all the ones with R are Required and the NR is Not Required.
Once you have finished entering in the results simply save it to somewhere you can find it.
Import lab jobs
When you are ready to import the results, select Consoles > Lab and find the import section on the bottom section as displayed below.
Make sure that the Import format selected on the bottom left is VINx2 Standard.
Click on the import icon, select the updated CSV file and click Send.
This will automatically bring up the lab requests and load in the analysis results for you.
Double check the values to ensure that they are correct, once you are sure click Actions and then click either Update this page to save those results without confirming them, or Confirm this page to permanently save the results.
To update or confirm the analysis results for a single lab request, find the wine, click on the down arrow and then click Update or Confirm respectively.
