There are a few ways to do this:
1) Stock summary report (Reports -> Management (bulk wine) -> Stock summary report): if you want to see history of the wine and know roughly when it was active, you can run a stock summary report for those dates. This will give you the wine, where it was at the start of the period, all movements between, and where it was at the end of the period. This report runs for all batches for an Owner, with each batch in its own section.
2) Operation throughput report (Reports -> Operations -> Operation Throughput): this one will allow you to select a specific batch, and will show you the operations performed on it for a date range. You can filter on certain operations if you like.
3) Navigating to a Historic Revision: you can do this by going into the Product Overview and checking the Inactive option under the Advanced search options. Enter your other search criteria and wines that have been completely depleted will show in the search results.
4) Search by code: similar to 3). In the advanced Product Search you can search for old revisions by code (or other properties such as owner, etc). Just un-tick the “Active only” option down the bottom. This will give you the product revisions which you can click on to go in and take a look at the history. Typically, the higher the number on the end of the revision, the later the state of the wine.
Using 1) or 2) will give you a summary of the operations if that’s what you’re after.
For 3) or 4), once you’re viewing a Historic Revision of the product you can access all the reports and tabs of information as you would for a bulk product that was in stock.
