What are Insights?
Insights are an innovation that allows you to benchmark yourself against the past and quickly see how your business is performing. This new feature gives you a unique way to gain insights into your operations and visualize problems before they get out of hand.
For example, you can see Production loss for the current quarter and how it compares to the same quarter last year. Or see how Sales are tracking this month compared to last month: are they up or down and by what percentage or value? How about Harvest tonnage and how that compares this season to last?
All of these at-a-glance insights, and many more, are available on the new vintrace Dashboard. Insights are configurable so you can adjust the parameters to suit your business.
Below is the list of available Insights.
Adding a new insight
To add a new Insight click on the green plus icon on the upper right corner of the dashboard and then click New insight.
Click the Insight you want to add.
You can customize your Insight by changing the title, selecting filters, and comparison options. When you are satisfied with the set up, click Save.
The newly configured Insight is added to your Dashboard.
Hovering over the Insight gives you information on what the Insight shows:
Customize existing Insights
By hovering over the top of an Insight, three tools are displayed (hover over each for a full description of what the tool does): Move, Refresh, More settings.
The first tool (drag and drop) allows you to move the Insight to a new location:
The second tool (rounded arrow) allows you to refresh so your Insight reflects the most current information.
The third tool, more settings (three dots) allows you to Configure or Remove the Insight:
Use the More settings > Remove to delete an Insight.
